The police have traced the burnt body of the boy and also arrested the kidnappers including a close relative of the boy in connection with the kidnap and murder.
It may be recalled here that Kusuma Deekshith Reddy (9), the elder son of Ranjith Reddy and Vasantha, was kidnapped by unidentified persons on Sunday evening (October 19).
According to Mohammed Iqbal Asif, the complainant, the incident occurred on Thursday when he and his friends went to the Bandlaguda area to distribute food packets to the poor affected by the rains.
According to the police, the man D. Shankar (26), had allegedly kidnapped Sahithi, the infant from her mother K. Deena, a beggar from near the Secunderabad Railway Station.
