The hospital’s Shoulder Surgery wing is now offering the minimally invasive ‘In Space Balloon’ procedure to treat shoulder pain problems.

The orthopaedic surgeons at KIMS-Sunshine Hospitals, Begumpet on Wednesday announced successful knee surgery on a patient utilising Episealer implant, a custom-made implant from Sweden that provides a pain-free life for patients.

Orthopaedic and trauma surgeon Dr. Kamalakar, Dr. Subramaniam led by professor Dr. Leif Rid from Sweden conducted the surgery on Wednesday.

With the use of Nanoscopy a patient can go home on the same day as it is done under local anaesthesia and it includes no stitches
