On August 15, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch the Stree Shakti scheme, allowing free bus travel for women and transgender persons in five APSRTC service categories. The initiative is part of the TDP-led NDA government's Super Six poll promises.

In view of the demand and following requests from the citizens, the corporation had introduced four new Metro Express.

TSRTC announced reduction of the metro express bus combination ticket (Combi Ticket) from the present Rs 20 to Rs 10 under GHMC limits.
