To put an end to such practices, officials have decided to display the photographs of teachers to ensure the local people easily identify teachers of their schools

According to officials, apart from proxy teachers, the initiative is aimed at addressing teachers absenteeism

Collector Koya Sree Harsha instructed officials to conduct awareness programmes with doctors in Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya, Model schools, Gurukulam schools and hostels to educate students about disadvantages with drugs and other narcotics.
