According to zoo authorities, areas like the safari park, bear moat and primate area were the most affected ones.

The zoo said the big cat was relocated to its premises and kept in the veterinary hospital for observation.

The zoo ended the longest closure in its 57-year history. Visitors will get a taste of new normal before they walk through the front gate.

All visitors to undergo thermal screening at point of entry

It is mandatory for all visitors to wear face masks and undergo thermal screening and a visitor with high temperature will not be permitted to enter the zoo
