A private travels bus hit a chemical tanker on the Macharam flyover near Jadcherla on Thursday, causing hydrochloride acid to spill. All 26 passengers escaped unharmed, though a few suffered minor injuries. Firefighters contained the situation and traffic on NH-44 was disrupted.

A major pile-up on NH-44 near Chandrayanpalli village in Nizamabad district left over a dozen people injured. Two trucks and three cars were involved in the crash. Miraculously, all passengers, including a motorcyclist, sustained only minor injuries.

As per available information, the deceased, M Parasuramulu (40), was hit by the car which was driven by Ashutosh Vishwas of Maharashtra on the NH-44
