Hyderabad Police have intensified inspections of the used vehicle market after Operation Kavach reportedly uncovered several violations. Commissioner CV Sajjanar warned dealers and buyers to follow legal procedures and cautioned against odometer tampering, fraudulent advertisements and illegal vehicle transactions.
Hyderabad Police conducted a citywide inspection of lodges and hotels under Operation Kavach on Friday night. Around 5,000 personnel participated in the drive to verify occupants’ credentials and records, while police also announced action against motorists using earphones while driving.
