Mukkera Satyanarayana Goud slipped from the top of the tree and fell onto the ground while he was trying to gather toddy, resulting in his instantaneous death

A lorry driver by profession, Mohammed Khadeer was struck dead by lightning in Mallapur mandal of Jagtial district.

He suffered a heart attack while tapping toddy on tree in Rajannagudem village of Motkuru mandal, Bhuvanagiri.

While climbing the tree he slipped and fell in a defunct well located beside the tree and died on the spot. He lost grip and slipped as the tree was soaked due to continuous drizzling during the day.

The deceased was identified as Mannem Mallesh (30), son of Borraiah. It is said that he died on the spot.
