The CWC has asked the Andhra Pradesh government to cooperate with the joint survey.

Engineers-in-Chief of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh are slated to attend the meeting.

The survey would ascertain the extent of submergence areas in Telangana if the water in Polavaram was maintained at full and minimum reservoir levels from July to September.

The proposals were sent to Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, to release Rs.5,036.32 crore for Polavaram.
