Police Commemoration Day was solemnly observed across Khammam, Warangal, and Kothagudem districts with Smriti Parades and candlelight rallies. Officials, dignitaries, and families of martyrs paid floral tributes and read out the names of 191 police personnel who died in the line of duty this year.
Khammam Commissioner of Police Sunil Dutt said police were performing their duties sacrificing their lives for people of the country and the police system plays a very important role in maintaining law and order.
