Despite Covid, 703.32 crore collected as against Rs.561.05 crore in 2019-20

According to the GHMC, the property tax collected till March 25 was Rs 1,503.13 crore, paid by 11,73,218 taxpayers

The scheme allows waiver of 90 per cent of accumulated arrears on the interest component of property tax till the year 2019-20 in all the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), including Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).

The balance is to be collected by March 31 and officials are confident of reaching the target
