The Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) has issued show-cause notices to several doctors in Mancherial for practicing beyond their qualifications, violating medical ethics under NMC and TGMC Acts. Complaints revealed doctors treating patients in specialities without relevant degrees, including orthopaedics, neurology, kidney care, and diabetology.
In a press statement issued here on Thursday, association general secretary B Srinivas said both RMPs and PMPs play a vital role in providing medical services to patients from rural parts when required.
During the raids carried out at the said two premises, DCA officials detected over 150 varieties of medicines and seized Rs 2.30 lakh worth of medicines.
