Singareni CMD Balram, who held a review meeting on CHP on Saturday, asked officials to work towards increasing the capacity of the CHP so that it could handle future coal productions

Managing Director N Balram said there were certain SOPs (Safe Operating Procedures) prescribed for every job, and due to not following them properly, there were accidents in the mines.

The company had set a target of producing 72 million tonnes of coal during the current financial year, says Managing Director N Balram.

The award was presented at Green Maple Foundation-2024 awards ceremony held in the city on Saturday night.
