Class X students of ZP Girls' High School in Bayyaram staged a dharna demanding the appointment of a social teacher, citing fears of failing upcoming board exams. Despite repeated appeals, no action has been taken.
The girl students can travel for free of cost under Mahalakshmi scheme while boys can travel to their examination centre for free of charge by producing their hall tickets and old bus pass.
