Taking inspiration from BRS working president, KT Rama Rao’s support for the cause of weavers, the TAUK decided to dedicate the event as ‘Chenetha Bathukamma and Dasara’ for wider support and attention to wear handlooms in every occasion.
The main attraction was the traditional Pothuraju and women carrying Bonam across several streets of London. More than 1000 NRI families from various parts of the UK attended the event.
