Senior health officials including the district surveillance officers have noted that there is no massive surge in cases of Covid-19, which would have been the case if the new strain of coronavirus had entered here into the community.
"Though there is no chance of a second wave, people should be alert and protect themselves against Covid-19 during the winter season," the Minister said in an interaction with mediapersons in Veenavanka mandal.
Apart from further strengthening its Covid-19 surveillance activities at RGIA, the Health Department will also track individuals who have reached Hyderabad from UK in the last one week
