As Indian Railways prepares to roll out a brand new set of Vande Bharat Sleeper services, buzz is growing about the Secunderabad-New Delhi route being part of the first batch

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday flagged off a Vande Bharat train running between Hyderabad and Tirupati. The train is expected to cut travel time for devotees travelling between the cities and is expected to reach destinations in approximately eight and a half hours.

Railway officials said the restrictions will be placed from Friday 12am till Saturday 1pm.

Stones were pelted on the Vande Bharat train in Visakhapatnam city of Andhra Pradesh. This is the third time when a stone pelting incident has been reported.

The SCR has appealed to each and every one not to cause damage to railway property by way of stone pelting or any similar activities.

The second Vande Bharat train will operate between Secunderabad and Tirupati.
