"Under Congress rule, Telangana has experienced only cutbacks and exclusions, depriving people of welfare scheme benefits," he stated, highlighting several impacted programs. These include loan waivers, Rythu Bharosa support, irrigation projects, KCR kits for mothers, and nutrition kits. He also criticized the failure to implement the promised Mahalakshmi financial aid for women, pensions for martyrs' families, and support for tenant farmers and SC/ST families.

"The data collected by the officials will aid the government in planning and implementing welfare schemes for the entire population of the State," he stated. He emphasized that the survey is not limited to the poor but is intended for all residents of Telangana. "Using the information gathered through this census, the government aims to uplift and empower the poor and the destitute," Owaisi added.

The kin of the victims are losing out on statutory benefits, mainly due to ignorance over the benefits including monetary aid, health insurance, monthly pensions, etc., extended by the government.
