Hyderabad: Results of the first year intermediate public examinations that concluded on Wednesday are expected to be released in the last week of November.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) successfully conducted the examinations for second year students from October 25 to Wednesday.

A total of 4,59,240 students including in general and vocational categories had registered for the exams. On Wednesday, Modern Language paper-I and Geography paper-I exams were conducted, for which 516 students registered and 497 students appeared.

Following the conclusion of the exams, the Board has decided to hold spot evaluation of answer scripts in two spells at 13 evaluation camps. The first spell of spot evaluation will commence from November 6, while the second spell will begin from November 8. The evaluation process is expected to conclude in two weeks which will be followed by the result processing.

“We have successfully conducted all the examinations without any untoward incidents. We have made elaborate arrangements for spot evaluation from November 6. After the start of the evaluation, the results will be declared in 20 days,” a BIE official said.

Earlier in March this year, these examinations could not be conducted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. All students were promoted to second year and were informed that the first-year exams would be conducted when the ituation was conducive.
