Nalgonda: Devarakonda MLA Ramavath Ravindra Kumar Naik on Wednesday said that the State government was striving for strengthening Grama Panchayats (GP) financially in addition to developing amenities and infrastructure in the villages.
Inaugurating a community hall at Balaji Nagar of PA Pally mandal in the district, he said that the government had taken up several schemes for the revival of caste-based professions, which would be helping in reviving and strengthening the rural economy. It was also providing sufficient funds to the Grama Panchayats to develop amenities in the villages. Due to the initiatives of the State government, people of rural areas were also getting all the required facilities, he added. He pointed out that Palle Pragathi programme was also resulted in overall development of the villages in the State.
