Telangana headmasters announce three-phase protest over pending issues
The Telangana Gazetted Headmasters' Association has announced a three-phase protest from April 25, seeking resolution of long-pending issues, including service rules and promotions, through meetings with MLAs, officials and top government authorities.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Gazetted Headmasters’ Association (TGHMA) on Friday announced a three-phase protest, demanding that the State government resolve their long-pending issues, including service rules and promotions.
In a statement, TGHMA president P Raja Bhanu Chandraprakash and general secretary G Hema Chandrudu said that, as part of the first phase from April 25 to May 4, the headmasters would meet MLAs in their respective constituencies to highlight the seriousness of their issues. They would also seek the legislators’ support in bringing the matter to the Chief Minister’s attention.
Second phase protests from May 8 to 17 would involve submitting petitions to district ministers, MPs and MLCs, they said, adding that delegations would also meet district collectors and district education officers, urging them to forward their representations to the government with recommendations for solutions.
The association also plans to submit representations directly to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao, Education Secretary Dr Yogita Rana and other senior officials as part of the third phase of the protest from May 21 to 31.
