Hyderabad: The previous BRS government initiated Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) received a huge acclaim from the NITI Aayog.
In its latest policy report – Expanding quality higher education through States and State Public Universities – the NITI Aayog featured the TASK in the State good practice. The Academy received praise for skilling students and faculty besides providing a skilled talent pool for the corporate companies.
In the last 10 years, the Academy imparted training to a staggering 9.84 lakh students from 761 colleges, apart from training 18,650 faculty members. Further, it partnered with 80 industries and provided over 35,000 placements to students.
To bridge the gap between industry, academia, and government by offering quality human resources and services, the previous BRS government launched the TASK as a not-for-profit organisation in 2014.
Since its inception, the TASK has been providing significant value to students by offering modules for enhancing technological, personal, and organisational skills at highly subsidised rates.
The Academy has been supporting colleges by fostering environments for growth through faculty development, research projects, and systematic quality education programmes.
For corporates, TASK is providing access to a skilled talent pool trained in cutting-edge technologies, facilitating their recruitment needs efficiently.
