Telangana: Zilla Parishad Girls High School students from Koratla bag national-level kabaddi prize
A video of Kabaddi played by students was uploaded three months ago part of Bharatiya Khel programme under National Education Policy

JAGTIAL: Students of Zilla Parishad Girls High School, Koratla, won the national level first prize in Kabaddi.
India Knowledge System, New Delhi, on Wednesday, sent prizes and sports equipment to 14 students of the school.
To encourage 75 Indigenous sports in government schools, the Union government launched ‘Bharatiya Khel’ as part of the National Education Policy and Indian Knowledge System policies.
As part of the programme, schools have to upload videos of games played by the students of their respective schools on the NKS website. The best schools would be announced as winners.
The video of Kabaddi played by the students of ZPHS (Girls), Koratla was uploaded three months ago. As the video got the highest views, IKS declared the students as winners and sent prizes and the sports equipment to 14 students.
School headmaster Ch Krishnamohan Rao appreciated the students for winning the national level prize.
