People from all walks of life participate in ‘Telangana Run’
Enthusiasm and a festive atmosphere prevailed as ministers, state legislators, other public representatives, police officials, sportspersons and film personalities joined the run.
Hyderabad: Health enthusiasts, amateur runners, families, general public from all walks of life and police personnel participated in the special ‘Telangana Run’, organized by Telangana police at People’s Plaza, Necklace Road as part of the ongoing decennial celebrations of the State’s formation.
The special run comprised of two categories including a 2K and 5K run, which provided the participants with different levels of challenge and an opportunity to engage with the cause of the decennial celebrations.
Similar runs were organized at different locations under Cyberabad and Rachakonda limits.
Ministers including Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Srinivas Goud, Hyderbad Mayor, Gadwal Vijayalaxmi, Khairatabad MLA, Danam Nagender, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar and senior police officers were also present.
