Three children drown in stream in Sangareddy district
Three children drowned in a stream at Ramojipally in Raikode mandal of Sangareddy district on Sunday evening. The children reportedly entered the stream while playing. Their parents later found their clothes and chappals near the stream before the bodies were recovered
Sangareddy: In a tragic incident, three children drowned in a stream at Ramojipally in Raikode mandal on Sunday evening. The children did not know how to swim, but ventured into the stream in a playful mood and drowned.
When the children failed to return home by evening, the parents searched for them across the village and found their clothes and chappals on the edge of the stream.
They retrieved the bodies after searching for a couple of hours. The deceased were identified as Niranjan (12), Basavaraj (10) and Manoj (12). The police registered a case.
