Tractor plunges into well, driver drowns in Telangana’s Jagtial

While Peddulu was tilling the land, the tractor drove down into an agricultural well as he lost control of the steering wheel, say locals

Jagtial: In a tragic incident, a tractor driver drowned when the vehicle plunged into an agricultural well in Mallapur mandal on Friday.

The incident occurred while the driver was tilling the land with a tractor. According to local people, while the driver Peddulu was tilling the land, the tractor drove down into an agricultural well as the driver lost control of the steering wheel.

Other farmers working in nearby fields rushed to the spot and tried to rescue the driver. However, Peddulu died by that time.

On learning about the incident, police visited the spot and began investigation after registering a case.
