Traffic diversions announced for Maha Shivaratri at Keesaragutta temple
Traffic diversions will be in place from February 13 to 18 near Keesaragutta temple for Maha Shivaratri celebrations. Heavy vehicles will be restricted, and several routes diverted. Police expect heavy pilgrim turnout and advised motorists to follow traffic guidelines.

Hyderabad: In view of Maha Shivaratri celebrations at Sri Ramalingeshwara Swamy Temple in Keesaragutta, the Malkajgiri Traffic Police have announced traffic diversions for six days to ensure smooth vehicular movement in the surroundings of the temple.
The ‘Brahmotsavam’ festivities will be held from February 13 to 18, with heavy pilgrim inflow expected on February 15, the day of Maha Shivaratri. Traffic restrictions will be enforced during this period.
Police said heavy vehicles will not be allowed towards Keesara village and adjoining temple routes. Vehicles from ORR or Cheryal X Road towards Keesara will be diverted towards Ghatkesar or Shamirpet via ORR and service roads. Vehicles from Uddemarri and Bommalaramaram will be diverted at Rangapuram Chowrasta and routed through alternative connecting roads and heavy vehicles from Shamirpet will be diverted at Yadgaripalli, proceeding towards Ghatkesar via ORR service road or via Cheryala village towards ECIL.
Vehicles from Bogaram will be diverted at Vanneguda X Road towards the ORR through Keesara Dayara, and further routed to Ghatkesar or Shamirpet.
The Malkajgiri Traffic Police urged motorists to follow the diversions and cooperate with traffic personnel to avoid congestion and inconvenience.
