Distributing Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques worth Rs 27 lakh to the beneficiaries at his camp office, Mallaiah Yadav said welfare schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak and KCR Kits had brought about a change in society towards girls. At the same time, the State government was giving top priority to safety and security of girls and women, he said, adding that all the welfare schemes, that are the brainchild of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, have a human angle.

The Chief Minister Relief Fund also stood as support to the poor patients by extending financial help for the treatments of their illness.
