Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is going through a tough time financially, for the last few years. To support the Corporation, its chairman Baji Reddy Govardhan has decided not to draw his salary or allowances for the post henceforth.
In a statement, Baji Reddy Govardhan said that his constituency allowances were sufficient for him, and since the TSRTC was facing losses, he would not want to burden the corporation.
The decision was lauded by TSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar and other senior officials.
