Sabala Hubs (Women Entrepreneurial Clubs) to promote and exchange business ideas..
Hyderabad: Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) on Thursday launched Sabala Hubs (Women Entrepreneurial Clubs) to promote and exchange business ideas.
Speaking on the occasion, TSWREIS secretary Dr RS Praveen Kumar said marginalised women were grossly under-represented in the business landscape for various structural and societal barriers. One of the insurmountable hurdle women faced today was lack of skills and confidence to start a business, he said.
The idea behind the setting up of Sabala Hubs was to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and innovation among young women of degree colleges and TSWREIS alumni in collaboration with VREAP (Volunteers for Rural Entrepreneurs) and AWESUM (Aspiring Women Entrepreneurs) organisations, he added.
