Hyderabad: The art or process of designing a house, building or a room is not an easy task. It involves detailed work, requiring foresight of an interior designer, who should be always ready with 3D visualisations and possess an ability to transform a client’s dreams into reality.
Manish Ashok Gorak is a Hyderabad-based interior designer reaching new heights in the field of interior designing. His recent projects under the brand, Roiretni.in include designing for Bajaj Electronics and the home of Nizampet’s first female Mayor, Kolan Neela Gopal Reddy. An expert with interior designing, he begins by looking at the space, line, form, colour, pattern, visualization and texture before coming up with a design.
He says, “Designs and coordination goes hand-in-hand to bring out the decorative elements of the interior with correct usage of colour and schemes. One should have knowledge about usage of fittings, furnishing and architectural features. Designs have the ability to speak to you, if placed correctly.”
Manish tries to reflect the design voice with a touch of modernity, conveying local and international patterns, relevant to current times.
Manish feels that understanding an individual’s dreams and converting those into a reality is a challenging job. “Your home is your biggest and greatest investment, so make it last with proper and correct design. You should be very careful about choosing the right design because it’s the place you return to at the end of the day. You should look at your place as your rest hub,” says Manish. Thorough about his work, he also travelled to countries like Italy and China, to collect authentic pieces for his designs. Sharing his mantra, he says, “Success is something which can’t be defined or explained. Every single day has the potential to learn something and grow.”
