Two GP secretaries suspended, MPO gets show-cause notice for fake attendance in Khammam
In Khammam district, two gram panchayat secretaries were suspended after being found guilty of marking fake attendance through the Daily Sanitation Report (DSR) mobile app. They reportedly used their own photos to register presence without physically being at work.
Khammam: Two gram panchayat secretaries were suspended from services while a show-cause notice was issued to the mandal panchayat officer in Bonakal mandal in the district for recording fake attendance.
District Collector Anudeep Durishetty issued orders suspending the secretaries, Malladi Srinivas Rao and Bakka Suresh for marking their attendance on the Daily Sanitation Report (DSR) mobile application using their photos without being present.
Meanwhile, a show-cause notice was issued to mandal panchayat officer (MPO) Venkata Subramanya Sastry for his alleged failure to monitor the attendance of the gram panchayat secretaries.
