UoH faculty to join editorial board of renowned journals
Prof Soma Venugopal Rao has been invited as the Editorial Member for Defence Science Journal (DSJ), India; Opto-Electronics Advances and the Frontiers journals
Hyderabad: Prof Soma Venugopal Rao, faculty at the Advanced Centre of Research in High Energy Materials, University of Hyderabad (UoH), has been invited as the Editorial Member for the prestigious journals that include Defence Science Journal (DSJ), India; Opto-Electronics Advances and the Frontiers.
DSJ is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary research journal in the area of defence science and technology. Prof Venugopal is the Associate Editor for Opto-Electronics Advances Journal series which are published by Institute of Optics and Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOE, CAS), providing professional platforms to exchange ideas on optics, photonics, and optoelectronics through publishing, conferences, and other activities.
Venugopal Rao is also the Associate Editor of Optics and Photonics Journal which is a section of Frontiers in Physics devoted to the science and application of photonics and optics, a press release said.
Prof Rao has published a book, 10 book chapters, and about 300 papers in referred journals and international conference proceedings and presented more than 150 papers in various international/national conferences.
