Warangal Urban: Chaitanya, a deemed-to-be University in Hanmakonda launched an innovative programme called ‘At-Home-Library’ for the UG, PG, MBA, MCA, Engineering, Pharmacy students. All the textbooks required for the students have been downloaded and their PDF files are made available on the University Website for accessibility.
Enugala Vikram Reddy, Co-Chairman of the CDU , has inaugurated the programme. Through this facility, the students could use the study material from several textbooks. He advised the students to utilise this facility.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, “We have downloaded all the textbooks and made them available to students as it was not possible for students to physically visit the library and collect the textbooks in the present situation. Students can study these textbooks at home as per their convenience,” he added.
University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurrapu Damodar said that our university was the first in Telangana State to introduce such a facility, and congratulated the faculty who made all these textbooks available online in PDF format.
Registrar Prof M Ravinder, Assistant Registrar, Gade Rambabu, Dr K Veera Venkataiah, OSD, various Deans, Heads and Library Staff were present on the occasion.
