Hyderabad: The Medchal Excise Task Force officials arrested a youth who was allegedly transporting the high-end narcotic ‘OG Kush’ on Wednesday.

According to Excise Officials, two drug dealers identified as Sujeeth Rao and Navya, residents of Kasol in Himachal Pradesh and originally from Bachupally, had been purchasing OG Kush and sending it to their contact in Hyderabad, Kumar Shrivastav, through courier services.

The accused reportedly arranged online video calls to identify potential buyers and facilitate sales to city-based youth.

Acting on a tip-off, Task Force team nabbed Shrivastav near Suchitra and seized 260 grams of OG Kush worth Rs 3 lakh from him.

Officials said efforts are underway to nab Sujeet Rao and Navya, who are believed to be key suppliers in the racket and currently absconding.
