Khammam: Task Force police seized 20 tonnes of PDS rice worth about Rs 3.20 lakh, being transported illegally, at Cheruvumadaram village of Nelakondapalli mandal in the district on Friday.
According to the police, the rice being transported in a lorry was seized in a raid conducted at a stone quarry at the village. The offenders left their vehicles and ran away. The lorry, two cars and a motorbike were seized.
