Hyderabad: The Commissionerate of Collegiate Education (CCE) has invited applications from junior lecturers, librarians and physical directors working in the Government Junior Colleges for filling up vacant lecturer posts in Government Degree Colleges through promotions.
The applicant should have qualified for promotion as of September 1, 2021 (panel year 2021-22) as a lecturer in Government Degree Colleges. They should have a requisite qualification of 55 per cent of marks or equivalent grade at master’s degree obtained from recognised universities in the country along with NET/SLET/PhD in relevant subjects.
Junior lecturers who have completed three years of service in the present cadre can apply along with copies of certificates on or before January 31. On the basis of the applications, a seniority list for promotions will be prepared.
Only candidates who apply will be considered for promotion as per eligibility on the basis of seniority/roster, the CCE said in a circular memo issued on Thursday.
Candidates who got promotion as a lecturer in Government Degree College earlier and taken reversions as a junior lecturer in Government Junior Colleges are also being given one chance.
Such chance is being given subject to the condition that candidates will be given seniority from the date of promotion and there will be no retrospective seniority or notional seniority above their juniors already promoted. They have to give a declaration to this effect, it added.
