Hyderabad: BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday condemned the arrest of senior journalist Raghu.

In a statement here, he said police had arrested Raghu for exposing land grab issues. “If the police continue to arrest journalists, then all the prisons would be filled with them,” he said, adding that journalists played a crucial role in the agitation for statehood for Telangana. The police were attempting to suppress the voice of journalists by registering false cases, he alleged.
