BC Commission interacts with BC leaders in Nalgonda
Speaking to the media, he stated that the government had established a dedicated commission to determine the percentage of reservations for various BC communities in local bodies, and the commission is actively working toward finalizing the quotas.

Nalgonda: The State Backward Classes Commission Chairman B Venkateswara Rao who met leaders representing different castes as part of the state-wide opinion gathering exercise here on Saturday said the implementation of BC reservations in the local bodies is what the government was keen on and it would be a reality soon. Talking to media persons he said that the government had set up a dedicated commission for this purpose and the commission was working in the direction of finalising the percentage of reservations for the various BC communities in the local bodies.
He said this exercise was already completed in Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts. The commission would tour in other districts soon. It will be visiting the districts of Khammam and Mahabubnagar soon. Leaders of the BC communities demanded steps to strengthen the BC corporation and the BC welfare department. The commission chairman, Venkateswara Rao, was received by the Nalgonda District Collector and other officials on his arrival in Nalgonda.
