Hyderabad: Congress legislative party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao withdraw the move to auction assigned and government lands across the State.

“Government lands are meant for public utility. The government’s move to auction government lands will be taken up with Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and a memorandum will also be submitted on behalf of the Congress Legislative Party,” he said during virtual press conference on Sunday.

“If the government goes ahead with the land auction, CLP activists and leaders will oppose the auction at the sites,” said Bhatti Vikramarka.
