The present-day situation is forcing people to focus more on fear, sadness, worry, frustration etc.
Fear is an emotion induced by perceived danger or threat which causes physiological changes and ultimately behavioural changes. All people are likely to experience some type of fear. Past incidents or traumas, learned responses from early life, experiencing long–term stress, genetic factors etc. are some factors that contribute to fear.
Most importantly, one should acknowledge the negative effects of it. Fear weakens our immune system and can cause cardiovascular damage. It can lead to accelerated aging and even premature death.
The present-day situation is forcing people to focus more on fear, sadness, worry, frustration etc. which ultimately is worsening one’s mental health conditions.
How can one overcome fear? It is possible only by faith.
Faith is truly wonderful! Faith is the assurance, the confidence, the confirmation, the reality, the essence, the supporting ground of things hoped for. It is believed that people with a strong sense of faith will have higher optimism, external control and self–esteem. The confidence to overcome a hardship will make you win over it.
Some of us spend time every day exercising certain muscles that we want to develop. You say, “I haven’t run for a week, and I feel the difference”. Similarly, if a week goes by without exercising faith, you will notice the difference…. So, faith is like a muscle and needs to be exercised. Is there a link between faith and health? Yes. Faith provides inner strength. It helps you to discover your purpose in life. It can be the pathway to find solutions. Above all, faith helps you to overcome stress, anxiety and fear.
