Hyderabad: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 will be conducted at 147 centres across the country from 2 pm to 4 pm on Friday.
A total of 70,277 aspirants seeking admissions to various National Law Universities are scheduled to appear for the pen and paper test. Of the total registered, 59,843 are for undergraduate and 10,434 are for postgraduate programmes.
Considering the Covid-19 pandemic, the Consortium of National Law Universities has directed its 147 centres across the country to make seating arrangements at less than 50 per cent of actual seating capacity, CLAT convenor Prof. Vijender Kumar said on Thursday.
The Consortium and National Law Universities has joined hands with State governments for the smooth conduct of CLAT-2021. Vaccination was not mandatory and candidates without vaccination were entitled to take the test, the CLAT convenor said.
The CLAT for UG consists of 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks and the postgraduate test consists of 120 multiple-choice questions of one mark each.
A master answer key along with the master question booklet will be published on the Consortium of National Law Universities website on Friday evening, Prof. Kumar added.
