Nirmal: Forest Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy on Wednesday urged both the groups to observe restraint to restore normalcy in Bhainsa town. “Everyone wants peace. Strict action would be taken against those who provoke public sentiments and cause inconvenience,” he said.
In a statement here, the Minister urged the people not to believe rumours. “Common public bear the brunt of clashes, and anyone trying to break the law will have to face the consequences. Such clashes only hamper development of the town. Smalltime traders and businessmen are already in a crisis,” he said.
The minister opined the communal clashes would ruin the image of Bhainsa town. Youngsters would have to spoil their career if they were booked. “Political parties and people belonging to two groups need to be restraint and establish a peaceful ambience besides taking steps to prevent recurrence of similar events,” he stated.
Indrakaran Reddy stated that he was monitoring the situation of the town by constantly speaking to local MLA G Vittal Reddy, Collector and Superintendent of Police. He phoned the legislator, IAS officer and SP and instructed to step up security until the law and order was under control.
The minister, later, condemned the assaults against the journalists. He consoled scribes who sustained injuries in the clashes. He termed it as an unfortunate incident. He found out the medical condition of three reporters, by speaking to their kin. He assured to extend all support to the injured from the government.
