Fisherman’s body retrieved from irrigation tank in Adilabad
The body of a fisherman who accidentally drowned while fishing in an irrigation tank at Kolhari village in Adilabad district was recovered by expert divers on Saturday. Police shifted the body to Boath hospital for post-mortem after the recovery
Adilabad: The body of a fisherman who accidentally drowned in an irrigation tank while fishing at Kolhari village on Friday was retrieved from the tank on Saturday.
Police said the body of Chourya Arun (48) was recovered by expert divers from the tank. The body was shifted to a hospital in Boath for post-mortem.
Arun was fishing along with eight others when he drowned. Police immediately launched an operation to locate the body after receiving information about the incident.
