Food Poisoning: Bhupalpally Collector inspects Tribal Girls’ school
Recurring incidents of alleged food poisoning at government’s residential schools have sparked a public outcry, igniting debates about the quality, hygiene, and safety of meals being served to students.
Bhupalpally: The series of food poisoning incidents occurring in various government schools, residential institutions and welfare hostels in the last few days, is forcing the district administration to take steps to improve the conditions of the food being supplied to students in the district.

On Wednesday, District Collector Rahul Sharma visited Tribal Girls’ Ashram School situated in the Bhupalpally Municipality and inspected the kitchen, store room, dormitory and classrooms. He also interacted with the students and tried to know about the problems being faced by them. He asked them to bring problems being faced by them to his attention.
He instructed the warden to provide quality food to the students, maintain cleanliness and create awareness about personal hygiene among the students. He ordered the principal to immediately repair and put into use the unused Reverse Osmosis Water Plant in the dining hall. He said solar water heaters would be installed in bathrooms so that student could take hot water bath during winter.
