Gitanjali Primary School: Prefects chosen on Foundation Day
Pre-primary tiny-tots were dressed up as school founders and gave them a ‘Happy Birthday’ message by holding up placards and dancing to the tune of the birthday song.
Gitanjali Primary School celebrated its 36th Foundation Day on July 3. On this special occasion, children were selected and elected to lead as prefects. The celebrations began with an invocation dance put together by our children.
Students were honoured and invested by their parents with the badges. Founder/ Principal, Gitanjali Primary School and Director Gitanjali Group of Schools, Mrs Karan attended the ceremony along with Managing Director Jai Karan.
Chief guest Madhumati Sanjay, gynecologist and obstetrician, showered accolades on our children and on the school for continuing to maintain the orderliness and a high level of efficiency, not only in teaching but also in conducting various thematic extracurricular activities and workshops even during these testing times.
We had a collection of aesthetic cultural programmes among which stood out this breathtaking program called ‘I PROMISE’ which brought back golden memories and promised to bring the children back to their beloved school.
