Stating that adequate beds and medicines were available in the hospital, the Minister assured of arranging an additional 40 beds. Every day, 1,800 tests are being conducted, he said, and instructed officials to increase the numbers. Asking people not to believe in rumours on the quality of vaccines, Rama Rao said steps were taken to give the first dose of vaccine to 1.24 lakh people above the age of 45 years by the end of this month.
