Karimnagar: Collector RV Karnan informed that contestant candidates and political parties can conduct campaigns between 10 am to 7 pm. Poll campaign will not be allowed after 7 pm, the Collector made it clear while conducting meeting with election authorities.
Dhoom Dhams, dances and other election related programmes would not be allowed after 7 pm. There was a ban on taking out rallies and bike rallies while conducting election campaigns, he informed and warned to register a case under MCC if anybody violated Election Commission of India norms.
Political parties can mobilise 200 people to conduct indoor meetings, while 1,000 people were allowed to mobilize for star campaigners meetings. 500 people can participate in a common meeting. Poll campaign would be concluded 72 hours prior to the polling, he informed.
