A sub inspector of police was injured when a group of people attacked a police team comprising personnel of Habeebnagar police station and Telangana State Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TSANB), when they went to arrest a drug peddler at Mangar Basthi.

The two juveniles spotted the advocate walking on the road near IMAX and approached him on their scooter. "One of the juveniles pulled out a knife and stabbed the advocate, while the other took his mobile phone and fled," said DCP (Central Zone) Akshansh Yadav.
