Jubilee Hills Bypoll: Republican Party of India announces candidate
The Republican Party of India (Athawale) has nominated Dr Divya Chandana, a social worker, as its candidate for the Jubilee Hills constituency in the upcoming elections. The B-form was formally handed over by Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, in the presence of state convener Peram Siva Nageshwara Rao.

Hyderabad: The Republican Party of India (Athawale) has announced the candidature of Dr. Divya Chandana, a social worker, from the Jubilee Hills constituency. The party B Form was handed over to her by Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, and national president of the party, Ramdas Athawale, in the presence of Peram Siva Nageshwara Rao, Convener of RPI (A) for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced Lankala Deepak Reddy as its candidate for the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. The BJP’s central leadership has endorsed Deepak Reddy’s name and the B Form will be issued by the party State president on Wednesday.
In the 2023 Assembly polls, Reddy contested from the same constituency, polling 25,866 votes (14.11% share) and clinching the third place. The party’s state unit shortlisted three contenders, Deepak Reddy, Dr. Keerti Reddy, and V. Padma and forwarded the list to the central high command five days ago.
